On the morning of October 23, our university held a grand opening ceremony for the students of grade 2022 in the stadium. Qian Yingwei, Secretary of the Party Committee; Wang Qi, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, President; Zhang Qijian, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee; Zhang Guang'an, Vice President; Wang Hong, Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Committee; leaders of relevant departments, teachers' representatives, and all the students of Grade 2022 attended the ceremony. The ceremony was presided over by Zhang Guangyu, Director of the Party and Government Office.
At 10:00 a.m., the ceremony began. The national flag guards took vigorous steps to escort the national flag to the stadium. The bright five-star red flag rose slowly with the solemn national anthem, fluttering in the wind. Fu Yuzheng, Ji Jiaxin and Li Ke spoke on behalf of the students. Twenty graduates of the Period 2022 who received the President's Special Scholarship for graduate students expressed their deep affection for Liaoning University of Technology and sincere wishes for the freshmen through videos. Teacher Sun Jing from the College of Foreign Languages spoke on behalf of the teachers. She shared her impressions with everyone based on her own study and work experience. Electric Class 861 graduate Na Fu sent affectionate message from Beijing. She encouraged the new students to cherish their youth, actively pursue moral education and cultivate independent thinking. On behalf of all the teachers, students and staff, Wang Qi expressed sincere congratulations and warm welcome to the new students of Grade 2022. He called on the new students in the new era to study in multiple dimensions, develop in an all-round way, and integrate the realization of personal value into the destiny of the country and the nation. Zhang Qijian introduced the motto of Liaoning University of Technology to all the freshmen, and the leaders wore the emblem of Liaoning University of Technology for the freshmen representatives.
